The Death of Orange

Description

Many many moons ago, well about 2 years, I studied fine art painting at City and Guilds of London Artschool. Here is 'The Death of Orange' one of the oil paintings that formed a tryptic of 2 x 3 metre paintings which were part of my graduation show. I think you can see my sci-fi tendencies shining through!

Since leaving artschool I have become immersed in illustration and have never really looked back. It would be nice though to pick up the paint brushes again some time. Have any of you guys got experience in fine art? If so how has it impacted your current practice? Would love to here other peoples trans-discipline experience.

I still use a lot of traditional method in exploring digital art. I like the way it changes the end result. sometimes it is more fussy, but it give you more time with your subject.
